Volunteer: Autism Parent Workshop and Resource Fair

Join Guiding Parents to Services (GPS) and Aventura Consciente for a free workshop designed to guide, support, and empower parents and caregivers of children with autism.

Workshop Topics Include:

Supporting the Family
Bridging Home and Classroom
Autism in the Workplace
Behavior as Communication
The Importance of Early Intervention
Autism and Therapy.

We need anywhere from 5-8 volunteers to help with the check-in in the morning, and again for the vendors arriving later in the morning. You can stay the whole day and help with both or you can sign up for one.

Volunteer: Little Libraries Restock

One last re stock of the little libraries just in time for the holidays! We'll sticker books, separate them for each location, and then deliver to the 21 little libraries around the county!

We'll meet at Ascend Nonprofit Solutions in room 376. For parking, you'll drive just past the building on 5th and turn into the paved lot just past it. There is a gate, but it will lift if you pull up to it. From there, you'll check in with the security guard and head up to floor 3.
