We mobilize resources, forge partnerships, and support families to improve early childhood health, education and development, and ensure children are prepared for kindergarten.
Our overarching goal is to help Mecklenburg County kids turn 5 and ready to thrive!
What We Do
MECK Pre-K is high-quality, free pre-k education for eligible four year-old children in Mecklenburg County. Classes are taught by licensed teachers and highly qualified teacher assistants. Classrooms are located in four and five-star child development centers.
